I had a dream that one day I'd see a free Falasteen with my daughter
Freedom is God given and I know it was all written in a metaphor
The heavens await, but Ima be late, I'm patient, I know what we're destined for

I think of my loved ones
And my family that sacrificed
So I wrote this verse on the moon, maktoub (Take a breath)
The day that I left, my grandmama gave me this rosary
May God rest his soul, but I know she know wherever I'm going, it's close to me
I look around at the world and I pray 'cause I know this is not what it's supposed to be
I miss Falasteen and the scenery, that's why I speak of the thievery
