صلى عليكَ الله يا عَدْنانِي
Allah’s salutations be upon you, O Adnani
يا مُصطفى يا صَفوَةَ الرحمن
O Chosen One, you are the elect of the Most-Gracious

الحمدُ لله الذي أَعطاني
Praise be to God for giving me
هذا الغلامَ الطيِّبَ الأردان
This boy of noble origins
قد سادَ في المَهدِ على الغِلمان
He prevailed in the cradle over all other boys

أُعيذُهُ بالبيتِ ذِي الأركان
I seek refuge for him with the Lord of the Sacred House
حتى أراهُ بالغَ البُنيان
So that I may see him all grown up
أنتَ الذي سُمّيتَ في القرآن
You, who has been named in the Qur’an

أحمدُ مكتوبٌ على الجِنان
Ahmad is written on the heavens
صلى عليكَ الله في الأحيان
Allah’s salutations be upon you in every time

أحمدُهُ في السرِّ والإعلان
I thank Him in secret and in public
حقاً على الإسلام والإيمان
His due right upon us for giving us Islam and faith
