مشت كالنور  و ما في حدا عرف بالروح

بلد مهجور تاركين القلب مزروع

كانت، سماهم نور فوق البحر بشوية

اصبحوا عالجوع ونمحو ورا الحدود
صارت, خيمهم دور بين الحلم والغنوة

فكفكو الخيوط حتى منها القيود

ولد عالجوع رضع وقت الأبدية

شبع ما مات قام ووشم صور حرية

فطم السكون ثار وخلد سكن السجون

صلاة رجوع صاح وحلف برب الناس

She passed like light and nobody felt the soul

Within her wounded womb she carried absence and promises

Patience of Job, and nobody could bear the pain

An abandoned land, the heart left planted

There it was, their sky lit just above the sea

They woke hungry and erased behind the borders

There it became, their home a camp between dreams and songs

So untie the threads, and even the chains
